Doctor's appointment

We just got back from my doctor's appointment and we heard the babies heartbeat for the first time. We have seen the baby on ultrasound multiple times, but the doctor has never been able to catch the heartbeat. It was really amazing. We also received the results to our genetics test and all four tests came back negative; we were both relieved. We always said we would make any situation work, but a healthy baby is good. We find out Monday what we are having and I have never been so excited for a Monday in my life! We will keep everyone posted :) BLUE OR PINK???????

19 Weeks!

I am 19 weeks today! We have a doctor's appointment and on Monday we will hopefully find out what baby Sandler is so we can stop calling it, it!

It's the little things...

I truly do not enjoy my job and my New Years resolution is to not be so stressed out at work. My job seems ideal from the outside looking in; I get to work from home, I don't have to drive anywhere, I can stay in my jammies all day. All of this is true, but I also make my own schedule(not a good thing for someone who is OCD), I sometimes need to be on computer at 6:00 AM and my job is very detail oriented, oh and I talk about cars all day! I am super hard on myself and don't do well in an unstructured environment; it makes me more tense and stressed out. I also don't like the lack of human interaction during the day, I am an extrovert and am not used to being by myself all the time. I think I have gotten better at not being so stressed out and I have relied heavily on Morgan and the little things in my day to day that make me happy. Here are a few that have made me happy as of late :)


It actually makes me happy to watch my belly grow :)


Morgan and I found this little record store within walking distance of our house.





Knowing I have Morgan in my life everyday makes me feel secure and soooo happy. I love him...


I purchased this record player with my Christmas money! Thanks mom and dad. Morgan and I have been listening to records every night.



I have wanted a jewelry stand like this for a while; it keeps me very organized and like organization.



I bought a shower curtain, I'm telling you, it really is the little things!



I was sleeping terribly for a couple of days until I bought this! I'm in love!

Not much to say

My mom keeps telling me that I need to update my blog more, but I have been so sick and so tired lately that it's all I really talk about. I am sure no one wants to know how crappy I feel everyday all day! We have another doctor's appointment on December 16th, so I will post the ultra sound photo from that and a picture of my lovely profile.

Thanksgiving was amazing! I can talk about that! We spent the afternoon with Morgan's family and had a really big, filling meal! I love his family so much, I feel very lucky to have them in my life. Then we headed to my parent's house. My mom made the most amazing spread and the house looked amazing! It was also my idea to get a fire pit for the backyard (sorry Melissa) and it was a hit. We ate, everyone drank (a lot) but me, we played hide n' seek for the first time in 9 years and we sang around the fire; it was the best time. My sister forced my nephew Ben and little cousin Brent to eat what Ben kept calling "the feast". I have never laughed so hard, Ben was gagging all the way through, but he took a bite of everything which I had never seen him do in is life!

I kept looking around at everyone all night and realized how blessed I am. I am healthy, I have an amazing family, an incredible husband and a baby on the way!
