Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson died today. I found out through text message from Morgan while on a 3 mile walk (training for the Avon Walk). After I found out, I walked home, turned on the news and found out it was actually true. Michael Jackson is dead. Morgan and I went to a bar near our house, had a couple of beers, and played Michael Jackson tunes on the jukebox. Then we came home and we have been looking up Michael Jackson videos on YouTube all night. I feel like part of my childhood has been taken away! I will post a picture of my Michael Jackson mug tomorrow!

It's only Tuesday!

This week has been oh so hectic and it is only Tuesday. Morgan and I are house sitting for his dad and step mom this week out in Chino. They have 2 horses 2 dogs and a pony! We have to feed the animals twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. We also have to shovel the horses' shit out of their stalls. It has been interesting because apparently horses are very skittish so you have to like talk to them and tell them you are next to them so they won't kick you. I don't know, Morgan tells me stuff and I just listen. I walk really fast past them so they don't kick me in the stomach! I don't think we realized when we agreed to house sit how extremely busy we would be this week. Morgan works everyday in Hollywood and I have a job interview I am preparing for. I know I have an interview at some point this week, but have not yet found out when, so I am in limbo between Chino and LA. I have also been back in forth between LA and Chino for band rehearsal and tonight I have a show in Hollywood. Then on Saturday I have my friend Kim's 2 day long bachelorette party! Please send good thoughts towards my interview (this is a good one) and wish us luck getting through this week with our sanity!

Morgan Palooza!

Then I decided to marry a man who is a Gemini like my brother and sister! Morgan's birthday is June 4th so we started celebrating on Wednesday June 3rd. Morgan's Grandma made him a big steak dinner and I made lemon cupcakes. Then on his actual birthday, I got up made him french toast, we went to his favorite place in the world, Philippes which is downtown and a place he has been going to since he was a little boy. My mom was with us and it was really fun and the french dips were amazing as usual! Then we met the rest of the family at the Dodgers game (it was Ben's first ball game and he loved it). My dad was beaming with pride. They lost, but we had a really great time! Then on Saturday, my mom and I made a bunch of gourmet pizzas and my mom surprised Morgan with a Juniors New York Cheesecake from scratch. We had a great weekend! PS I have more dodger pics, they are on my moms camera and I will post later!

Then Bridgie Came Along...

Her birthday is June 1st so when she was born, our joint parties got even bigger! Here are some pics from her 24th birthday! We had a BBQ at my mom and dad's house! Enjoy. More picture coming!

Here We Go!

I have been trying to get my pictures resized and organized so I could post! Ryan's birthday was May 24th. When we were kids he would complain that it wasn't fair that my birthday was before his since he was older. He and I always had joint birthday parties which was fun because we both invited friends which made for a huge party every year ( and tons of presents). My favorite party was my 2nd birthday, which was Ryan's 5th. It was a Smurf theme. All of the streamers, table clothes and cake said "Happy Smurfday" on them! Here are some pics from Ry's 32nd Birthday!

New hobby!

Morgan and I have gotten really into biking in the last few months. I have had a bike for over 2 years, but living in LA found it difficult to ride on public streets. I was always afraid I would get hit by a car or eat shit. Tomorrow is Morgan's birthday so me and both Morgan's family and my family chipped in and bought Morg a really nice mountain bike. I gave it to him early because there was no place in our apartment to hide it! We have been riding a lot on the weekends with my family in Redlands (just around town) but have been wanting to find some trails to ride. Morgan did a bit of research and found a bunch of great trails in and around Malibu Creek State Park. We went riding on Monday and it was one of the best days I have had in a really long time. The weather was perfect and it felt really good to do something different. It was great to have that alone, quality time with Morgan as well. We pushed ourselves hard and got a great work out. We are making mountain biking our new hobby and I love it!
